Refund policy

Returns
Our return policy is 30 days from date of purchase. After 30 days, we are not able to offer a refund.

To be eligible for a full refund or exchange, your item must be returned in the original condition, unused, and in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are not eligible for refund or exchange:

--Perishable goods ,such as food, flowers, newspapers, or magazines
--Certain intimate or sanitary goods
--Hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases
--Gift cards and certificates
--Downloadable software products
--Some health and personal care items
--Tour Admissions
To process your return, we require a receipt or other proof of purchase.
Please do not send your product back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where we may, at our discretion, issue a partial refund or credit:
-- Books with obvious signs of use
-- CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes, software, video games, cassette tapes, or vinyl records that have been opened
-- Items not in original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
-- Items returned more than 30 days after delivery 

Refunds (when applicable)
Once your return item is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we received your return item, and whether or not we will authorize a refund. 
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed within ten business days.  A credit will be applied to the credit card used for the original purchase. or we will issue a check by mail. 

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If we have confirmed that you are entitled to a refund, please allow two weeks for us to complete processing.  It may take several business days after we complete processing for a refund to be posted to your account by your bank or credit card company.
  

If you your refund has not posted to your bank account or credit card activity after three weeks, please contact us at store@susanb.org.


Sale items (if applicable)

All sales of discounted items are final. Items purchased on sale are not returnable or refundable. The exception to this is full-priced items purchased with the volunteer or member discount; these items may be eligible for return or exchange within 30 days of purchase. The amount refunded will reflect the purchase price as verified by the receipt. 


Exchanges (if applicable)
We will replace items that are defective or damaged in shipping. If you would like to exchange a defective or damaged item for the same product, contact us by email at store@susanb.org. Return defective or damaged items to: National Susan B. Anthony Museum & House, 16 Madison St, Rochester NY 14608, United States.

Ms. Anthony Purse Guarantee

If your Ms. Anthony Limited Edition purse shows signs of wear or defect, we will exchange it for a new one as long as our supply of these purses lasts.  

Gifts
If an item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, we will issue a store credit to you for the purchase price if you return the item to us in original condition and packaging within 30 days of delivery to you. A gift certificate for use in our museum shop will be mailed after we receive the return item. 

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or if the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves, we will process the refund to original purchaser, once the item is returned to us.

Shipping
To return a product, mail or ship it to: National Susan B. Anthony Museum & House, 16 Madison St, Rochester, NY 14608, United States

The customer will be responsible for paying return shipping costs.

Original shipping costs are non-refundable. If we authorize a refund, we will refund the cost of the returned item(s) and any applicable sales tax. We will not refund the shipping.

If you are returning an item valued over $75, consider using a trackable shipping service or purchase shipping insurance.  Proof of delivery will assure that we can proocess your refund.

The time it may take for your exchange product to reach will depend on your location.
